Welcome to Palpung Yeshe Chokhor
Palpung Yeshe Chokhor established in 2002 in Kitchener Ontario, Canada was created under the direction of His Eminence Tai Situ Rinpoche. Its founder is Chöje Lama Karma Phuntsok who represents the Karma Kagyu Palpung Monastery. The focus of Palpung Yeshe Chokhor is the preservation of Tibetan Buddhism and culture, we also offer opportunities for teachings, study and practice.
Palpung lineage It has a long and interesting history that has inspired countless dharma practitioners. Palpung has always been considered an extraordinary centre for the accomplishment of the three trainings of study, meditation, and dharma activity.
We offer a series of meditation courses designed to help the student progress from the basic beginner level to more advanced levels. By moving through these courses, the student will have the opportunity to thoroughly study the Stages of the Path as taught by Buddha
The Retreat setting was quiet and peaceful. The Retreat House was a home away from home. You could relax in a lounge chair on the wrap around deck or enjoy quiet walks to the pond or river.
